Everyone at Drama Collective has a passion for the performing arts – from monologues and poetry to top-notch concerts, open mic nights and Hollywood blockbusters – we all really appreciate the work that goes on behind the scenes to create polished productions – whatever the size.
We are committed to providing accessible, inclusive and family-friendly theatre fun for our multi-generational audience members. As such, we host our main performances at the All Saints Centre or King’s Church in Lewes for up to 150 audience members.
Our members groups are extremely fortunate to have a wonderful core team and a number of dedicated volunteers which also include our fabulous costume designer and professional marketing consultant.
As a completely self-funded organisation, we make the most of what we can and are extremely grateful to the grown-ups who are highly valued and help us put on our successful shows.
We are always on the look-out for fantastic individuals who can offer a few hours of their time to join our crew backstage as a children’s chaperone, front of house person, sound and music (AV) technician, script prompter, handy prop and scenery creator, or simply to be a safe pair of hands during get-in and get-out (before and after shows).
Above all, we need team players. Those who are happy to get stuck in and help find solutions when needed. Whether on or off stage, there are so many opportunities to get involved in theatre with Lewes Drama Collective.
