Volunteer with Drama Collective and share your time, skills and expertise
You do not need to be a performer to make a difference.
We are committed to providing accessible, inclusive and family-friendly theatre fun for our multi-generational audience members. As such, we host our main performances at the All Saints Centre or King’s Church in Lewes for up to 150 audience members.
Volunteers help Drama Collective create welcoming, inclusive opportunities for local people to take part in drama, theatre and creative activities. Whether you can offer a few hours now and then, weekly support during term time, or a professional skill – your invaluable time can help our members feel supported and confident.
Whilst we have a number of dedicated volunteers who have been supporting us since the very beginning, we are always happy to welcome people of different ages, backgrounds, abilities and experience levels.
How you could help
Practical performance support
Over our production technical and dress rehearsals and performance dates, we would be very grateful for your assistance with get-in and get-out to help set the stage.
Creative and technical skills
Offer your expertise in lighting, sound, filming, or photography to create memorable visual souvenirs during our production dates and dress rehearsals.
One-off volunteering
Help out during a production or activity that may help us to raise further funds for our chosen charities.

Given that many of our members are young, we may need to discuss the need for any appropriate safeguarding steps.
Thereafter, we would provide guidance and a clear point of contact so that you can start, with everything you need.
