A magical modern twist for Cinderella comes to Sussex!

Get ready for an afternoon of pure enchantment as Drama Collective brings a fresh and vibrant take on everyone’s favourite fairy tale to the historic All Saints Centre in Lewes.

This isn’t your typical Cinderella story – it’s a spectacular reimagining that will have the whole family laughing, singing, and cheering along!

Premiering on Sunday, February 9th, 2025, this one-of-a-kind adaptation by Tim Rowland introduces us to a Cinderella who’s more relatable than ever. Living in the aptly named Brassic Manor, our heroine faces her daily struggles with grace, supported by a hilarious cast of friends who keep her spirits high. And when a certain Fairy God-person (who’s still in training!) shows up to help Cinderella meet Prince Henry at the palace ball, the stage is set for an unforgettable adventure.

What makes this production truly special? We are blessed with an original composition by the talented Sophie Cousins – renowned Lewes children’s choir leader and singer/songwriter – who has created an exclusive new song just for this show! And, our multi-generational cast brings together the best of Drama Collective’s talent from East and West Sussex, promising performances that will resonate with audience members of all ages.

But wait, there’s more! During the interval, audience members will have the chance to make a real difference in someone else’s fairy tale. Some of the proceeds from our raffle will support The Flying Seagull Project and The Starr Trust, organisations dedicated to bringing joy and opportunities to young people both locally and around the world.

Why you simply can’t miss out on this show:

  • A fresh, modern take on Britain’s most beloved pantomime
  • Original music by Sophie Cousins
  • Hilarious new characters alongside familiar favourites
