“Jam-packed with energy and humour.”
The List
When Dexter’s mum is sent to jail for getting mixed up in a jewellery robbery, it’s up to Dexter and his best friend Winter to get her out. On their journey to uncover the truth and free Mum, their detective work leads them to some surprising discoveries.
“Dexter and Winter’s Detective Agency reads as a fast-paced, witty and inventive play which tackles some serious issues beneath its ‘modern Famous Five’ veneer. It’s a kind of madcap whodunnit with an ethical twist.”
Helen Day, Drama & Theatre
Nathan Bryon’s play Dexter and Winter’s Detective Agency was first produced in 2019 by Paines Plough and Theatr Clwyd on a nationwide tour, including a run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
“Nathan Bryon has tapped into exactly how to make a staged mystery come to life for young audiences.”
TheatreWeekly
