2021 Easter Holiday Activity – Online Radio Play
Due to the success of our Online Easter and Summer Drama Clubs last year, we have decided to run another fun radio play production week for those interested in drama and radio plays…
In each of the 5 sessions, we will work on a script – learning radio, characterisations and voice techniques, and then record the play on the final day of the week.
Once the recording has been edited, participants will get a copy to keep for themselves. The recording will not be made publicly available.
“It’s great fun and it’s nice to see a different side of the performing arts.”
Participants will also learn vocal exercises and play fun games to break the ice, before exploring the script in detail.
“Radio drama offers a really fun way to think fast on your feet and utilise different types of sound effects at the same time.”
Best thing is, it will be an entirely stress free experience as there is no need to learn any lines and participants can join from the comfort of their own home.
Who is it for: Ages 8 to 18 – interested in drama, media and broadcast production.
How will it work: We will be using Zoom for the sessions for which a microphone and webcam would be required. You can find more details about Zoom and download options at https://zoom.us/download
Cost: £50 per participant (discount available for key workers and siblings)
How to book: Email enquiry@dramacollective.com
