Lord of the Flies Show

On Saturday, 24th October 2020 at 3pm, Lewes Drama Collective’s Youth Group proudly presents Lord of the Flies at the All Saints Centre in Lewes

By William Goldberg. Published 1954. Adapted for the stage by Nigel Williams and published 1996. This amateur production is presented by special arrangement with Faber & Faber Ltd.

A chilling tale of a group of plane-wrecked English schoolboys trying to survive on a deserted island, is just as relevant today as when it was first published in 1954.

“He forgot his words, his hunger and thirst, and became fear; hopeless fear on flying feet”.

The situation deteriorates within the group as the trappings of civilization begin to fall away and some members become the hunted.

Please note that due to audience number limitations at the venue, tickets will only be available to production family members and will not be on public sale.
