Productions Archive – Lewes Theatre Youth Group

Over the years at Lewes Theatre, our aspirational and talented drama students performed in a wide variety of productions.

From plays inspired by Rudyard Kipling, Lewis Carroll, Philip Pullman and Grimm Brothers to acting out stage scripts by Brecht, Shakespeare and Arthur Wing Pinero – all these productions were very well received and in many instances sold out.

“We went to see Robin Hood with our young grandchildren and their friends. They were all spellbound from beginning to end! It was a great production, a new telling of the tale and the kids were full of it when we got back home. Over dinner they were telling tales of parts of the play and were very detailed in their observations. They can see kids of their own age on stage and were fascinated! It shows them that they could have a go I reckon.”
